Operation Yellow Elephant Downsizes

Posted by Adam Graham in : Iraq War

Last week I figured out what would happen mathamatically if Operation Yellow Elephant succeeded in getting all able bodied Iraq war supporters between 17-42 down to the recruiting station and how this might play out in real life. 23 million soldiers would end up on the ground with a cost of $9 Trillion Per Year. Karl at OYE responds

If the American people really want to Support President Bush and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld to WIN the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT), we’d be happy if our great nation could at least exceed the quota by one one-thousandth (or one tenth of one percent) of the target population, or an extra 23,000 recruits. Including, of course, the rich and famous and the well-connected future leaders of our governing party seeking to set a good example for the rest of us.

LOL

So from 23 million to 23,000. From getting all people backing the war down to the recruiting station, to getting another 0.1%. Operation Downsizing Yellow Elephant Accomplished. :)
