Podcast #132: Putting Children Last
Posted by Adam Graham in : PodcastThis is my take on the whole issue with the Nampa Public Library housing the Joy of Gay Sex. I was a caller on “Truth and Reason” with Matt Slick last night, along with guests Bryan Fischer and Randy Jackson. It was a quite interesting conversation.
One point I raised there is that the real issue came when we seated a library board more concerned about access to porn than protecting your children, and nobody cared about their poor worldview until the issue came up.

Actually, I believe that the best person to ‘protect a child’ is the parent, and that it should be the parent’s decision about what books the child is allowed to check out of the library, not some government agency.
Or do you not believe that the parent is the best person to make these decisions? Are you saying the government should be making these decisions?

The books can be viewed without parental permission just by taking them off the shelf, so you’re argument’s not valid.
