I find it interesting that the American “honor” killing was treated as seriously as possible in the eyes of the law.
This stands in contrast to what is happening with the recent “honor” killing of young Aqsa Parvez in Canada and what has happened with many of the “honor” killings in the UK and in Europe. There has been more hand wringing, more cultural/moral relativism.
