		<description>I find it interesting that the American &quot;honor&quot; killing was treated as seriously as possible in the eyes of the law.  

This stands in contrast to what is happening with the recent &quot;honor&quot; killing of young Aqsa Parvez in Canada and what has happened with many of the &quot;honor&quot; killings in the UK and in Europe.  There has been more hand wringing, more cultural/moral relativism.
