On this day in 1784: Francis Asbury is ordained superintendent of the Methodist Church in America. He later took the title “bishop,” against the wishes of John Wesley. (Source: This Week in Christian History.)

2007 Tropical Season Wrap-Up…

Well, I guess it is time for a very overdue wrap up of the rather unusual 2007 tropical season. I have been holding out waiting for one last storm to sprout up before the end of the year….
