President Sali

Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, The

No, not President of the US, but President of something, the 13-member 110th Congress House GOP freshman class. You won’t read it in the Statesman, but thanks to the Idaho Values Alliance now we do.

Bill Sali is going to be a leader in Congress and this is just the start.

I’m thinking the Statesman might print something if he’d give them an interview. As near as I can tell, he hasn’t talked to the local press at all since the IPTV debate.

Adam, you are deluded if you think the Statesman will ingnore this.

Granted, being elected president of a class of 12 or 13 isn’t exactly the same as winning the Nobel Prize. But it’s still news.

Bubblehead is right, though: One of these days, Sali will need to start talking to the Statesman again instead of hiding behind Wayne Hoffman. Now that he’s a congressman, even one elected with less than 50% of the vote, his petulance over the “Democrat media” is most unbecoming.

Actually, the Statesman already ran it, on page 2 today:

I’m sorry, it was just the slow mo media. And Bill Sali will talk the media when he needs to and when it’s helpful for constituents.
