    I really hope Clayton wins, but early numbers have him down 61-39% (886-567) in Boise County; no reports from Elmore County yet.

    It looks like Rep. Thayn ended up winning, with Gem County putting him over the top (2000-1650-1650 total votes in a three way race). With Sen. McKague coming back to win as well, it looks like 2 of the 3 most maligned extreme conservatives ended up winning. At least this results in more opportunities for humor as they say dumb things in public.
