Imagine that. Working hard and sticking things out leads to a promotion and a vacation at a fabulous resort. What is the lesson to be learned from this? that old fashioned values actually work?
So many people today lack vision. If success doesn’t come instantly or adversity causes them to take a step backwards they become disgruntled. they fail to understand that you have to stick to a course. Small advances over years result in large gains in wealth and good fortune. This next step will lead to even more opportunity in every aspect of your life.
Years from now you will look back at these days with great fondness. But take the time now to appreciate your achievements. Most of all, never feel ashamed or embarrassed by success. You deserve it. Congratulations on this latest promotion and all the wonderful things your future holds.

Thanks, Michael. The work ethic has been a combination of faith and family background. There’s a lot more I could get away with at work, but I didn’t do it because even if no one else found out, it was important to live a life pleasing to God.
You’re right, a lot of people just drift through life without a purpose or goal, or a core or goal. I guess it goes back to that old inspirational poster. “If you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it.”
