Register to Post Weekend Open Trackbacks

Posted by Adam Graham in : Open Trackbacks

Its a day I hoped to put off for as long as possible, but comments now require registration. This decision was made because Comment spam got my hosting account suspended. I’m switching hosts shortly, so this may change, but for now posting requires registration.

Now, I’d like to ask everyone who likes this blogs and likes to comment on it to register. The nice thing about b2evolution is you can set it up so you are remembered which means you sign in the first time and that’s it.

This also makes it much easier to have people as Guest Bloggers. If you’re registered, then I just need to click a button, rather than having you register. Registeration will not be used to censor users. I’ve not banned a user in more than a year and a half and I don’t intend to start. So, I’d love to have your comments, but I need to be rid of the comment spam, so please register today.

The good news for those who choose not to register is that you don’t have to register to do trackbacks.

Today’s Open Trackback post will be updated less frequently throughout the day then some prior editions as Andrea and I will be at a marriage conference. Trackbacks will work the same and I will update them once I get back from the conference, but all the links will get listed. I promise (pinky swear).

Now, welcome to today’s Open Trackback party:

1) Post about anything that’s in good taste. No porn, no spam, no profanity.

2) Send me a trackback of any tasteful post you want and as soon as I check my blog, I’ll update this post with your link provided you link back to this thread. If your software won’t allow you to send trackbacks, just use the Wizbang Standalone Pinger

3) Deadline is Sunday at 11:00 PM MDT. Further trackbacks won’t be posted after that time.

Is It Time To Boycott Law & Order: Special Victims Unit?
I’m dead serious here. After SVU co-star/conspiracy nutjob/moonbat Richard Belzer made these comments on Bill Maher’s show, I think it might be appropriate. Belzer: “Okay, fine. No one questions the nobility and the honor that these men and woman who…
