Standing for the First Amendment
Posted by Adam Graham in : Daily Response, theChip Laird, Associate Pastor of the United Church of Christ had a column today discussing the Church’s pro-homosexual ad campaign. He wrote of the church:
Our local UCC congregation is filled with a rich variety of people, many of whom have felt alienated from religious institutions in the past. They seek a place where questions are valued and Christian faith is not dogmatic. They seek a place to be accepted for who they are and welcomed with God’s extravagant love.
The UCC is fulfilling scripture today by tolerating, welcoming, and accepting sin in the church.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but having itching ears, they shall heap to themselves teachers in accordance with their own lusts.-1. Timothy 4:3
The UCC is basically providing people a feeling of religiosity seperated from any obligation to live a holy, righteous life. For shame.

Your comments on divorce reiterate what Pope Leo XIII said in 1890 in his document Arcanum when countries in Europe were beginning to push for easy divorce. There is an article from THE CATHOLIC WORLD REPORT, November1998
A Culture of Inverted Sexuality
Contraception has begotten a trend which might be characterized as the “homosexualization” of heterosexuality.
It shows where the whole sexual revolution brings us today with homosexuality seeming to be toward the end of the line (except for sex with children which is being promoted by asking to have the age of consent lowered to 16 or 14 in some areas)
