Supporting our Troops-Don’t Send the Fraggers

Podcast Show Notes

If you need a reminder of the wisdom of an all-volunteer force, look no further than the low amount of Fragging to occur to occur in Iraq and Afghanistan. Let’s avoid the draft, because we already know there are some Americans who think fragging is a good idea, and we don’t need them in the military. (Hat Tip: Confederate Yankee.)

Meanwhile an anti-pork Amendment succeeds and exposes the mixed up priorities of some Democrats.

In Wisconsin, citizens don’t just complain about big government, they do something about it.  (Hat Tip: Sam Adams Alliance.)

Thanks for the link, Adam. What’s interesting is that the current goings-on in Wisconsin are so similar to the events that happened in Michigan a few weeks ago: protests by taxpayers’ groups, fiscally responsible legislators holding firm, the governor twisting arms…and then what? WI Governor Doyle is talking about the horrors of a government shutdown, just like MI Governor Granholm did. You’d think that the politicians in Wisconsin would learn what high taxes do to the economy just by looking east, but alas, they seem bent on repeating Michigan’s mistakes.
