What's interesting is that the current goings-on in Wisconsin are so similar to the events that happened in Michigan a few weeks ago: protests by taxpayers' groups, fiscally responsible legislators holding firm, the governor twisting arms...and then what? WI Governor Doyle is talking about the horrors of a government shutdown, just like MI Governor Granholm did. You'd think that the politicians in Wisconsin would learn what high taxes do to the economy just by looking east, but alas, they seem bent on repeating Michigan's mistakes. Thanks for the link, Adam.
