Hillary’s $5,000 baby bond is a poorly conceived idea that won’t encourage savings and passes the cost on to the babies who get it. Yeah, Washington DC is the one teach kids about savings and financial discipline.

• Not only did a company owned by the Samueli family get a $4 million earmark thanks to  Congressman Pete Vicsclosky (D-IN) (whose district the company has ties to other than giving contributions to the Congressman) but they’re being very about what they’re spending the money on. Excuse me, we’re taxpayers and have a right to know. (Hat Tip: The Midnight Sun.)
• Republicans take a fiscally responsible step to avoid a government shutdown or worse yet, an excuse for big spenders to increase federal spending.
• Ethanol production may be contributing to World Hunger. (Hat Tip: News Busters.)
• An Endorser tells the truth about Giuliani and electability.
• Governor Bill Richardson (D-NM) stands up to the hypocritical and sanctimonious Kennedy family in support of windfarms.
• Bet the far left base loves this. None of the top Democratic candidates will promise to be out of Iraq by 2013.
• San Francisco disrespecting our Marines.
• Democrats hold national security hostage to appease the Radical Homosexual movement.
• A sleazy and unsafe New Jersey Abortion clinic goes out of business.
• Viewpoint discrimination in Virginia as a pro-life club is stopped by the local school powers that be while Young Democrats are allowed.
• A story about Halloween and Christmas festivities being re-arranged that isn’t nearly as big of a deal as everyone makes out.
• Public Sexual Fetish Festival has NO AGE LIMIT so the underaged can come on in.
• A youth counselor/youth pastor loses his job because some of the youth in his program wanted to attend his church.
• Kevin Spacey: the latest Hollywood figure to lend credability to a dictator.
