I am voting against Obama for reasons that have nothing to do with race. I am offended by his extreme pro-abortion views, and by his stand in favor of infanticide.

Besides, I like Sarah. I am voting for her.

You're right that there are factors other than race that could beclown pollsters, but the media will blame it all on race for sure.

I think race could be an issue, particularly with the older folks, and other minorities. Any one or two states could toss the election.

There could be a lot more factors going into those discrepancies than the race issue though. I would say the core question will come down to Hillary supporters, and they, in reasonable numbers switch to Mccain. My impression was that much of Hillary's support came from the older voters. The older voters may not mind McCain that much, he isn't terribly conservative, and he is one of them, somebody they have been comfortable with.

I hear grumblings of liberal kids who have life long democrat parents who won't be voting for Obama.. Whether that is antedoctal or more widespread remains to be seen.
