The Importance of Blogging to Larry LaRocco
Posted by Adam Graham in : Senate raceWe’ve been told Larry LaRocco truly gets it. He understands blogs, he understands the importance of new media and this is the biggest reason being given right now why he should go to the US Senate. Yet, when I look over at Mr. LaRocco’s blog, I see the latest post was on September 22nd. For something so important and so vital, one would think it would merit an update every week or so.
Of course, Larry LaRocco has made guest posts on the Daily Kos, whose readers blame George W. Bush for all of their family, personal and financial difficulties, or the Huffington Post where authors have called for our troops to mutiny against the President or suggested that Hurricane Katrina was God’s punishment to Louisiana for electing Haley Barbour. Note, I’m just scratching the surface here.
Of course, what’s important is that he understands blogging, no matter how infrequently he updates his own, or what portion of the Internet he shows up on.

Louisiana was punished because Mississippi elected Haley Barbour? I thought it was feminists who were to blame for 9/11. ( http://archives.cnn.com/2001/US/09/14/Falwell.apology/ )

You’d have a point if Jim Risch had posted on a bulletin board that Jerry Falwell also used and if Falwell hadn’t apologized for it. That’s a red herring to distract from the issue such as it is.
