The IOWA GOP Limits

The Iowa GOP, using arbitrary polling requirements, have excluded three candidates from the Iowa Republican Debate held a month before the Iowa Caucus (Hat Tip: Flopping Aces.) Among the candidates excluded was Ron Paul, who yesterday had 1500 supporters show up at an outdoor rally at Independence Hall on a chilly day in Philadelphia.

• House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) slips $3 million into the Defense Appropriations Bill for the James E. Clyburn Golf Center. Not only is that pork, but shouldn’t a golf school be named after someone who can golf well?
• Former Governor George Ryan (R-Ill.) gets his just reward: A trip to prison. (Hat Tip: Sam Adams Alliance.)
• Democrats convicted of a crime, media ignores the party affiliation.
• Hillary stiffs a waitress while hailing her as an example of working mothers. (Hat Tip: Hugh Hewitt.)
• Hillary’s campaign plants questions.
• An uptick in support for the Iraq War. (Hat Tip: News Busters.)
• Student activities funds raided by DC School employees. (Hat Tip: Government Bytes.)
• The War on Christmas begins over colored Christmas lights. (Hat Tip: Stop the ACLU.)
• Swedish website owner taken all the way to the Supreme Court due to someone posting anti-gay comments on his site. (Hat Tip: Stop the ACLU.)
• School Girl gets detention for a hug.
• A horror done in the name of science.
