The Lord’s Prayer: “Hallowed be Thy Name”

Our Father

Your creation proclaims your majesty,
At your word, the Earth quakes,
No one is like you,
Baal and Molech, Ashteroth,
And the Greek Panteon have passed
Into history,
But you live and breathe
Though they wax and wane.

You are the true God,
Who reigns in Heaven,
You are the one who saves,
The only one who is Worthy
Of all Praise and Glory, and Honor.

Your name is Holy and Sacred,
Powerful and mighty,
At which the demons tremble
And mortal souls take heart.
Though profane men curse,
Curses can’t lessen the holiness
Of Your name,
It only degrades
The Soul who curses you.

You are perfect holiness,
There is no way by human art,
To lessen or extenuate it,
The only thing we can do
Is worship you for it.
