The Nine Remaining Attention Grabbing LaRocco-Rammell Debates

Posted by Adam Graham in : Idaho Conservative, The

Tonight, as mentioned below, Democrat Larry LaRocco and Independent Rex Rammell conduct the first of their 10 debates with online coverage.  LaRocco bills it the first online debate in Idaho History.  Afraid not, (see here.)  I beat them to the punch.

Of course, this is a gimmick to gain coverage, but after ten debates, the whole “ooooh, look its online” thing will stop being relevant. So, the online debate needs to be followed up by something equally attention grabbing:

Debate #2: LaRocco and Rammell participate in first ever Text Message debate for the U.S. Senate.  Sore thumbs keep candidates off the trail for three days.

Debate #3: LaRocco and Rammell complete the first U.S. Senate debate to occur in the middle of a Civil War re-enactment.

Debate #4: LaRocco and Rammell become the first U.S. Senate candidates to, along with moderator Kevin Richert, conduct an entire debate in the style of Japanese Kabuki theater.

Debate #5: LaRocco and Rammell conduct the first U.S. Senate debate ever during a Monster Truck Rally, while driving Monster Trucks. LaRocco claims Monster Truck Driver as the 40th job he’s worked in the State of Idaho.

Debate #6: Onlookers gather to watch the two candidates debate while suspended via bungie cords from a bridge.

Debate #7: In an audacious move, the 7th Debate occurs while Rammell and LaRocco fly up in an airplane. After 90 minutes in the air, debating the issues of the day, each skydives, having from the time they jump out of the plane to when they hit the ground to finish their closing statements. Larry LaRocco writes down “Skydiver” as the 50th job worked in the State of Idaho.

Debate #8: LaRocco and Rammell light up the North End with an improv Broadway-style musical debate, the first in Idaho. Larry LaRocco writes down “actor” as the 53rd job worked in the State of Idaho.

Debate #9: Having debated together so much, LaRocco and Rammell hold the first debate where they play the “other candidate.” Larry LaRocco puts down “Rex Rammell” as his 56th job worked in the State of Idaho.

Debate #10: LaRocco and Rammell hold the first ever street debate, each standing by the corner with an open violin case, along with FEC donation forms. LaRocco raises $23.75 and lists “Street Performer” as his 61st job worked in the State of Idaho

As much as I don’t want to, I’ve gotta admit that this post is pretty clever. BZ, Adam.

Thanks, when the opposition thinks it’s clever, it’s a huge compliment. Curious though. What does bz stand for?

Sorry, old Navy term. BZ = Bravo Zulu = Flag signal used to say “Well Done”.

Ah, I’d know that if my dad was in the Army, rather than the Navy. Thanks.
