The Politics of the Children

Podcast Show Notes

Issues Discussed on the Truth and Hope Report:

Congress is sent to pass a $50 billion tax increase over the next five years with a much longer rate of cost for continuing the program. Much of the program’s cost is hidden in a cigarette tax, but the American taxpayers will see the bill. To continue the program through 2017 using the approved increases without raising additional taxes would require 22 million new smokers and that’s with the number of smokers falling.
‘It’s up to us to begin to think critically of government programs that sound nice. We need to start asking questions that liberal proponents don’t want us to ask such as, “What’s the long term cost?”
Also, with the rest of the Rightosphere, we pay tribute to 19 years of Rush.
