How did the economic crisis come about.

Clinton Administration policies that pushed questionable loans were key. (Hat Tip: Hot Air.)

Both President Bush and Senator McCain tried to fix issues surronding Fannie and Freddie, while Senator Obama was one of the top Senators in receiving contributions from Fannie. (Hat Tip: Wizbang!)

McCain goes on offense and takes leadership, meanwhile the burden lies on Treasury and the President, because the Democratic Congress is prepared to go into recess and has no solution. (Hat Tip: Hot Air.)
