Nice host . Sorry to hear spam is such a problem. I would have thought the host would be more understanding .
Michael, my host shut me down because I was getting too much comment spam. In order to get my blog back up, I had to promise to require posters to register. In addition to that, I got really tired of having to delete all the comment spam all the time. Now, I'm getting registered users, so even when I switch hosts, I'll probably still require registration to comment, because its halfed my spam, so I only deal with Trackback Spam.

Wow. If those figures are correct, I'm probably responsible for giving several women cancer.
This won't help me in my attempt to make my wife get a little freaky either. Hopefully this little tidbit won't find it's way into a cosmos article.

By the way, after a trip with the family I come back to see you now require people to register. Any particular reason?

While good information to have, it should be correlated with sexual studies showing how many gay men actually engage in anal as opposed to oral and manual sex, compared with the heterosexual rates thereof. A much more conclusive and relevant bit of data would be the CDC statistics on new infections of HIV, which show that the vast, overwhelming majority of HIV cases are gay men, with heterosexuals being a comparitively tiny minority. (The first rank of new infections are male homosexuals, followed by male homosexuals who are also IV drug users, followed by other IV drug users, finally followed by non-IV drug using heterosexuals.)
