Red Herring is what they called my warning of euthanasia and forced abortion .<br /> <br /> As we go casually down this path the moral barriers which prevent other abominations will gradually fall. As the rights of the individual become subjugated by the rights of society health care will be rationed to a much greater degree. Other cultures have practiced this in ways that we would find shocking and deplorable. But in the future this may become not only acceptable, but necessary for the society we are creating. <br /> <br /> Keep this in mind the next time someone dismisses your concern about the slippery slope. Other cultures have practiced this in ways that we would find shocking and deplorable. But in the future this may become not only acceptable, but necessary for the society we are creating.

Keep this in mind the next time someone dismisses your concern about the slippery slope.

The netherlends, like all of europe, does it not have a problem with dropping birth rates? No child is unwanted or unloved, someone out there is willing to provide them a home (there are waiting lists of people wanting to adopt! waiting lists!)
