House Republicans strike back against amnesty with a bill that makes common sense. The centerpiece: it’s called enforcing the law. A novel concept, I know.
Planned Parenthood will no longer be teaching kids in the Show Me State sex ed, and they fear going out of business to insure the health of women getting 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions.
Also, an article by John Lott reveals the cost of abortion.
Finally, we do an ACLU hypocrisy medley that shows the ACLU’s inconsistency on religious issues that depend largely on whether Christians or Muslims are at issue.

Thanks for the tip to the bill in the House. Sounds OK, but I’d rather ALL our congresscritters hear what Carlyle Marney says Elijah heard after the wind, the earthquake and the fire passed: not a “still small voice” (a little added legislation) but “stone silence” and no new word–just get out there and do what you already know to do (enforce the laws we have FIRST, then see if anything else is necessary).
Well, I would allow that the bill’s provision establishing English as the official language of the U.S. is long, long overdue (although I’d go further and require that NO other language appear in official published documents: folks who refuse to learn English should go live where their language of choice is spoken).

Congress doesn’t have a whole lot to do with it. It really comes down to the President. The House is doing its part by encouraging enforcing the law.
