Another subjective category. This one will just be the photos I liked best. There were several semi-cool ones in black and white, but I have discovered through the course of this that I have a prejudice for color. And for things I can tell what are in the first 5 seconds, unless it’s really pretty.
Honorable Mentions:
Brownglasses.com has a cool photo of a fall tree-lined red brick road.
Sopheava de Lumiere has earned itself a mention by going ape with a very cute monkey at the minesota zoo.
And Shutterblog has some cute photos that will embarass the heck out of the subjects when they get to be teenagers.
The Winner:
Sugarfused.net has some gorgeous floral arrangements that remind me of that Keefe lady. Yes, one of my favorites was purple, but I really liked the pink rose too! And there’s a nice sunset, too.
Ole! Best of the Latino blogs written in English (I don’t know enough spanish to judge blogs escriben en espanol)
BTW, I’m throwing out heavily political blogs, not because they’re not good, but simply b/c I’m not qualified to review them as I don’t know jack about Latin American politics.
Now, I must object to throwing Latino and Carribean blogs together.
However, as that’s what they did, its not like I’m going to go ahead and choose two winners because that way, you don’t know to vote for.
Runners up:
CaribPundit They have an interesting way of putting things (and I not talkin about Mon either, Mon) and seem pretty balanced. Of course there’s many other Carribean blogs, that’s why they threw ‘em in with the Latin world.
Babalu Blog is a passionate blog taking on leftist regimes in Latin America as well as the American liberals who support them. (Comments by Adam)
Winner:
Latino Issues:
Wow, Andrea actually chose a blog of someone whose given me a lot of links. Even though he’s in Colorado, he has a lot of great news on goings on in Latin America. Lets give the award, so that he’ll blog more!
