Posted by Adam Graham in : Blogging

Welcome to the third part of our Weblog Award Show. Click here to view all of our reccomendations and to excercise your right to vote each and every day for your favorites.

Now, lets get to the next spot on the Blogosphere:

The Best of 1751-2500

Honorable Mention:

Cam Edwards has a well-designed, insightful, and intelligent blog. Its clear this blogger does his homework and his research to bring home juicy information to his reading public.

The Winner:

Conservative Outpost: I absolutely dig (yes, I said dig, you got a problem with the superbad 70s?) the cool design of this site. Man, this is one I’m going to consider adding to my Blog Log. The news is quick, to the point, and just a great site.

1001-1750:

The category I wanted to be in, but there are so many other great blogs to consider. Lets take a look at them:

Honorable Mentions:

Registan is a great resource for Eastern European information.

Portia Rediscovered has had to take a break from blogging to go on a short term missions trip.

Winner:

The Rebulution: Twin brothers with blogs, apparently sharing. Now that is interesting enough. However, they’re challenging their generation to think deeper and realize that youth is not a vacation from responsibility but a time of preparation. Their issuing a bold call to a generation and for the effort alone, they’re my choice for the Weblog Award.

Honorable Mentions:

Best of the Top 501-1000:

Honorable Mentions:

Generation Why?: Good blog, nice use of graphics, and good information. The one thing I’d like to see on the blog is an “about me” link or information. Quote at the top is a classic though, “Every morning when I wake up, I read the Bible and the Newspaper… Because I want to know what both sides are up to.”

Iowa Voice is a good right-leaning blog with commentary on important issues. He also searched hard to find interesting stories. In fact, he’s got one up right now on alleged left wing bias at Amazon.

Optical Illusions, Inc. is an interesting blog dedicated to optical illusions, but it lost points when I got a headache after viewing it too long.

Reasoned Audacity: This was one I went back and forth on in this category. I truly like Charmain’s site. What I find most appealing is that she DOES things not just blogs about people who do things, so its truly interesting. She’s greatly insightful and fights a lot of excellent stuff to say. I truly enjoy this blog.

The Winner:

Willisms: This was such a tough call. I went back and forth on this, but Willism use of graphics, quotes, and unique design on his blog overwhelmed the competition. He’s a blogger armed to the teeth with research, facts, and information. How does he manage it all. I don’t know but he deserves an award and that’s why I’m voting to give him one.

Tune in tomorrow 5 more award winners, including the final two rungs on the Ecosystem and Video Blog of the Year.
