“Our Father”
Which Art in Heaven
He looks down upon us
And sees our wickedness
But yet he loves us
For he knows our frame
And sees that we are dust.
He sits upon his throne,
And holds everything
In this world in His Power.
He alone can save
When all else has turned against us,
He alone can deliver us,
He alone can give us strength to endure.
He is the One who is reaching out,
Always reaching out a Hand
Of love and mercy.
Always giving us more than we deserve.
When I look up to Heaven,
I look to Him,
When I look down in
Fear, sadness, guilt
Remorse, or discouragement,
He is looking at me
Eyes full of love.
