Who’s Minding the Blog Weekend Open Trackbacks II

Posted by Adam Graham in : Open Trackbacks

A reminder that I’m going to be out of the country from May 7-May 11 and am seeking Guest Bloggers. Random Yak has volunteered to be the Commander-and Moderator-in-Chief while I’m gone, and David Oatney will be guest blogging. Radical Russ has offered a plan that I’ve been meaning to get back to him on.

If you’re interested in Guest Blogging, e-mail me and I’ll put you on the list. You do need to register if you haven’t already and I’ll get you posting privileges.

I should also note that I got my materials for heading South of the Border and they warned me that I’m going to get a tourist card when I go to Mexico. If I don’t have that, I won’t be allowed to leave. I’m not too worried, its not like the Mexican government’s been that good at keeping people in anyway. Then again, I guess they haven’t tried. ;) Seriously, I’ll hang onto my tourist card and be back with a cursory post on Friday, May 12.

Now, welcome to today’s Open Trackback party:

1) Post about anything that’s in good taste. No porn, no spam, no profanity.

2) Send me a trackback of any tasteful post you want and as soon as I check my blog, I’ll update this post with your link provided you link back to this thread. If your software won’t allow you to send trackbacks, just use the Wizbang Standalone Pinger

3) Deadline is Sunday at 11:00 PM MDT. Further trackbacks won’t be posted after that time.

Another Quarterback, another draft pick?
The Feeley deal was particularly costly for Miami, and having to get rid of him for an unplayed QB by giving up even a 6th round pick was the last shot in that disaster. Miami has so many needs, they could use draft picks. They seem to be squandering…

I must say I envy you. I could sure use a few days of peace and quiet in Cancun. Great beaches, a good book, and a cold drink. Enjoy it now as these days are numbered. Soon you will be cursed with rotten little brats who will steal every waking moment. Vacations will become laborious chores which will exhaust you to no end. You will learn to hate Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.So enjoy it now for you are doomed.

Well, my kids probably won’t go to Disney Land or Disney World. I grew up and just went to County Fairs. In addition, we’re eager to have kids. Peace and quiet doesn’t take care of you when you’re old. :) And peace and quiet doesn’t leave a legacy behind. Also, you only have to bring the kids if you actually care and love them, I know a lot of parents in Idaho who leave the kids home with a Relative/babysitter and go down to Vegas to gamble.
