Yes, God Will Judge

Alexandra at All Things Beautiful has a great round-up of the reaction to Tony Blair’s statement that God would “judge” whether he was right to go into Iraq. We’ve seen a lot of twisting by the left, as people have proclaimed that Blair said that God told him to go into Iraq, which is rubbish and a true twisting of what the man said.

In the end, God’s judgement is what matters. Every important leader throughout history gets attacked and maligned. Not a single one of those we view as great men didn’t go through a gauntlet of criticism and attacks. Some men died never being vindicated in life. Only in death would their righteousness be realized. For the Christian, it is the comfort that blow hard pundits don’t have the final judgment, nor do posturing pompous politicians, but God himself will pass judgment on what is right and wrong and his judgments are altogether. just, righteous, and true.
