What’s the appropriate response to a member of Congress under federal investigation, facing likely indictment and disgrace. If you answered, having members of the US Senate pour tens of thousands of dollars into his campaign cofers, congrats, you have the same political skills as Senate Republicans (who still wonder why they lost the Senate.)

Meanwhile, school districts are going bonkers with zero tolerance: suspending  a 7 year old for a day for drawing a picture of a gun, suspending a 13 year-old for a doodle that could be taken for a gun, and suspending kindergartners for playing cops and robbers.  (Hat Tip: Stop the ACLU.)

A move towards merit pay–in New York City, thus inexplicably putting New York Teachers unions to the right of Idaho teachers unions. (Hat Tip: World Magazine Blog.)

Bad news and good news from Britain: late-term pregnancies are being aborted for surgically correctable situations but also a new promising cure using adult stem cells emerges.  (Hat Tip: Idaho Values Alliance.)
