Don Cyphers Violates Journalistic Ethics

After a long series of revelations about Don Cyphers character (or lack thereof), we can scarce be surprised by what tidbits are dug about him. However, I just obtained the September 10, 2002 edition of the Montana News Association. In this paper, Cyphers used two of my articles without proper attribution.

One was a story about a race between Deputy County Attorney Ed Corrigan and Jack Quatman as well as an article about the County Commissioner's race between Karen Reeves and Columbia Falls Mayor Gary Hall.

Cyphers violated a key rule of journalistic ethics by using an author's works without attribution. However, I have proof of my authorship. Beyond, the fact that only I could have written those articles in Flathead County.

Below, you'll find the original pictures of Jack Quatman, Ed Corrigan, and Gary Hall that were used in the Montana News Association, along with screenshots of the Windows information on the Hall v. Reeves and Corrigan v. Quatman stories.

While this may have been an attempt by Cyphers to cover up my working for him, it was classically inept as Cyphers included another story of mine on the front page of the paper with attribution. So, in two weeks that Don Cyphers didn't pay me, my stories appeared on the front page.

If you don't believe, you can view the stories I wrote and compare them with that which appeared in the Montana Fraud Association. Also included are the color originals of the black and white pictures, Cyphers used in his paper.
